Ghosts of Bedlam
Royston Chatsworth is commissioned to film a sanitized documentary contrasting old-style mental health care with the improvement 1990s care-in-the-community has brought. Showing him around a derelict ward of a former mental hospital is nurse-turned-caretaker, Janet, who in turn introduces him to Milly, a former patient who keeps coming back to the hospital as it’s the only shelter she has. This is rather a sad little tale with lots of pathos, and a few laughs too.
All is known
Ian and Kate (young teenagers) want to get engaged but there is parental opposition from Kate’s family, so they resort to “a joke” that somewhat backfires. But it all comes good in the end. This is a very short comedy.
